TOUCH A SOUL A DAY

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him."(Acts 10:38)

The Holy Spirit is God. He lives inside of those who have accepted Christ as their Savior. He works in us and helps us to conform to the image of Christ Jesus. He testifies together with our spirit that we are children of God.  The Holy Spirit who gives us the right to become the children of God, also empowers us for service to God and mankind. The gifts and graces we receive through the Holy spirit is the manifestation of God’s love through us for service to the church and ultimately humanity. “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” 1Cor 12:7

When was the last time we brought joy to a heart, or smiles to a face? As anointed children of the Most High, how have we affected lives with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit?

The sweetest part of the story is: IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO START!  Let us look around us, we will find many hurting souls, many hungry mouths, many sick and needy people of God. Don't look too far, they are not by the way side, they are so close to us.

As we go about our daily activities, and the Lord bring such people our way. May we have eyes and hearts to discern and lend a helping hand. May we strive to do good, and touch lives at every touch point.

As we strive to live like Jesus Christ, may people who encounter us, walk away with hope, love, peace, and joy.

“There is not a better evangelist in the world than the Holy Spirit.” Dwight L. Moody

“My passion is to affect at least a soul and touch a heart a day. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, I do this with humor, love and some swag.” Hedwig Naa Tolloo Quist

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying, snatch them in pity from sin and the grave; Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen, tell them of Jesus the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying; Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Rescue the perishing, duty demands it; Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide; Back to the narrow way patiently win them; Tell the poor wanderer a Savior has died.
